I am an independent consultant working working with enterprise software companies, helping them get the edge on the competition. Most of my career has been spend trying to help organizations leverage information technology to help improve their decision making and over performance.
I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of very bright people over my career and I plan to use this blog to share some of their great accomplishments, and add my own perspective. I am doing this at the prodding of a number of people who continue to assure me that there is a shortage of good information on Sales Performance Management software publicly available.
A lot of this blog will be about Sales Performance Management software and will be generally applicable to anyone looking at Incentive Compensation Management or Sales Performance Management technology in general. The purpose of this blog is not to 'sell' Varicent but rather to provide some useful information for anyone interested in the Incentive Compensation Management and Sales Performance Management Software markets. At times I might write something specific for the Varicent community. I will tag those posts as Varicent and hope the readers of this blog will understand.
I readily admit that I write this blog from a software vendor's perspective and I come with certain biases and perspectives but I will strive to be objective and educational. I am sure that you will call me out if I am not.
